Thank you for considering AI Research in Educational Leadership for your manuscript submission. Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting your work. A Word template is available for this journal. Kindly save the template to your computer so that it is ready for usage. AIREL follows the APA 7th edition citation style. Please ensure all in-text citations and references conform to this style. Please send your manuscript to airel.journal@gmail.com

Manuscript Structure

Your manuscript should include the following sections in order:

  1. Title Page
    • Article title (maximum 150 characters)
    • Author names and affiliations
    • Corresponding author contact information
    • ORCID iDs for all authors
  2. Abstract
    • Maximum 250 words
    • Structured format (Background, Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions)
    • No citations or abbreviations
  3. Keywords
    • 4-6 keywords
    • Separate with semicolons
  4. Main Text for Research Articles
      • Introduction
      • Literature Review
      • Methodology
      • Results
      • Discussion
  5. Acknowledgments
  6. Funding Statement
  7. Conflict of Interest Statement
  8. References
  9. Tables and Figures

Figures and Tables

  • Submit figures as separate high-resolution files (minimum 300 dpi)
  • Acceptable formats: TIFF, JPEG, PNG, or EPS
  • Each figure and table must have a descriptive caption
  • Refer to all figures and tables in the main text
  • Number consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.)

Ethical Considerations

Research Ethics

  • All research involving human participants must have ethical approval
  • Include IRB/Ethics Committee approval number in the manuscript
  • Obtain informed consent from all participants
  • Protect participant confidentiality and anonymity

Plagiarism and Originality

  • All submissions are checked for plagiarism using iThenticate
  • Similarity index should be below 15%
  • Properly cite all sources
  • Self-plagiarism is not acceptable

Data Availability

  • Authors should be prepared to share research data upon request
  • Include a data availability statement
  • Consider depositing data in a recognized repository

Blind Peer Review Process

  1. Initial Screening: Editor reviews submission for scope and quality (1-2 weeks)
  2. Peer Review: An independent reviewer evaluates the manuscript (4-6 weeks)
  3. Decision: Accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject (2 weeks)
  4. Revision: Authors submit revised manuscript (deadline provided)
  5. Final Decision: Editor makes final acceptance decision (1 week)
